Structure for the next stage

More people. More moving parts. A clearer payroll rhythm.

Growth adds joiners, exits, variable pay and more people reviewing the numbers. Build a process with defined owners, versioned inputs and useful reporting so that HR and finance can work from the same approved payroll.

YOUR STARTING POINT

Make room for a better process.

A service designed around actual needs starts by understanding where the work gets difficult.

01

Less chasing, clearer ownership

Define who sends each input, who answers an exception and who signs off the final version.

02

A considered transition

Map current policies and outputs before changing providers or moving from an internal process.

03

Numbers finance can use

Agree cost-centre mapping, month-on-month comparisons and output formats instead of rebuilding the same report every month.

WHAT WE CAN SCOPE TOGETHER

Practical support.
Clearly defined deliverables.

The proposal confirms the tasks, formats, locations and responsibilities included in your service.

Inputs and change control

Use an agreed monthly checklist for attendance, leave, arrears, incentives, reimbursements and employee changes. Make cut-offs and late-change handling explicit.

Exception-led review

Review agreed checks such as joiner and leaver movement, net-pay variances and missing inputs. Share an exception list with owners before approval.

Reporting and reconciliation

Prepare the payroll register and agreed department or cost-centre summaries. Confirm how payroll totals will be reconciled to payment instructions and finance outputs.

Employee lifecycle support

Coordinate the payroll impact of joining, transfers and exits within scope. Define the required handoffs and approvals for settlements rather than assuming a single rule fits every case.

A WORKING RELATIONSHIP, WITH OWNERS

Know who does what.

This is a starting point for the conversation. Your final agreement sets out the exact responsibilities.

A FEW COMMON QUESTIONS

Before we start.

Have a requirement that is specific to your business? Include it in your quotation request.

Can you work with our attendance system?

We first review the exports and formats your system can provide. File-based input coordination can be included in scope. Any API integration, automation or additional development needs a separately confirmed specification and feasibility review.

Can we keep HR and finance approval in-house?

Yes. Your business retains final approval. We agree named reviewers, deadlines and escalation routes so that preparation and approval remain clearly assigned.

How is a provider transition planned?

We review source records, output requirements and year-to-date balances, then agree the migration and verification work. A parallel run, if included, compares the same approved inputs and documents differences before go-live.
